Our Impact

The Well began as a small local church project in 2006. That first year, we supported 69 people. We had little idea of the need that would develop across the nation and the impact The Well would have in our local community.

 By the end 2024 we had been able to:

• respond to 54,000+ requests for support

• provide essential food and toiletries to 120,000+ individuals (inc. repeat support)

• within that figure, support 46,000+ children and young people (0 - 15 yrs)

We have a saying at The Well  ‘We DON’T celebrate the need, we DO celebrate the provision’

We have only been able to achieve these numbers by much prayer, a wonderful team of volunteers and staff, and the phenomenal generosity of individuals, churches, schools, community groups and businesses both near and far.

The need for the support we offer continues and so we are constantly, prayerfully, considering how we can increase our response.
