“The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs. I will put in the desert the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive. I will set pines in the wasteland,  the fir and the cypress together, so that people may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.”
Isaiah 41v17-20 NIV

The Name
A Well speaks of a constant source of provision. It satisfies a basic need.
In the Bible, wells and water speak of life, joy, salvation, healing, hope – of a need freely met.

The Logo One day when we were praying God gave us a picture of a hand reaching down from heaven, with all sorts of practical provisions pouring out of it. Psalm 104 v 27-28  says: ‘These all look to You to give them their food in due season. What you give to them they gather in; You open Your hand, they are filled with good.’

Our logo really is a statement that this project is not about us as a team, or about what we do to make it work. This project exists and is growing to meet many needs because God told us to do it…and He is making it happen. He loves people so much and cares about their struggles.
